Candied Carrots Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb of 2-inch piece each carrots
1/4 c of packed sugar (brown)
A pinch of ground pepper (black)
2 Tbsps if diced butter
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Have carrots boiled in pot filled w/ water added w/ salt. You adjust to high-simmer then cook them for 20-30 mins. Drain very well.
Have heat reduced then put carrots back into pan. Add pepper, salt, sugar & butter. Continue cooking for 3-5 mins ’til sugar bubbles. Serve at once.
