Apricot Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 c of preserved apricots
1/2 c of halved dry apricots
1 Tbsp of soysauce plus 1 tsp
2 garlic cloves; minced
4 fresh skinless, boneless chicken-breasts
1//4 tsp of ground pepper (black)
1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions:

Have oven preheated to 425 degrees F. Combine preserved apricots, dry apricots, garlic & soysauce in bowl, mixing well. You add the chicken & evenly coat. Dust w/ pepper & salt.

Put chicken-breast in shallow roast pan then have it roasted for half an hour or ’til done. You baste it many times while cooking. Have it transferred into heated platter then pour the pan drippings over.

Taco Cornbread Pizza Recipe


Taco Cornbread Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

8.5 oz of muffin mix (corn)
1 lb of beef (ground)
1.25 oz of seasoning mix (taco)
8 oz of shredded cheese (Cheddar)

Instructions:

Prepare the muffin according to its package instructions. Spread the batter onto a greased (12-inch) pizza pie pan. Place inside the oven and bake (400 degrees F) for 8-10 mins or till slightly browned.

Cook the meat till browned; drain off the fat. Add three-fourth cup of water and seasoning; prepare according to its package instructions.

Sprinkle a cup of cheese onto the pre-baked crust then top it with mixture of meat; sprinkle over remaining shredded cheese.

Place inside the oven and bake for 4-5 mins till cheese melts. Garnish with (shredded) lettuce leaves, chopped tomatoes, milk salsa, (sour) cream, and guacamole.

Skillet Spaghetti Recipe


Skillet Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients:

28 oz of spaghetti sauce (jarred)
1-1/2 c of water
16 oz of frozen meatballs (fully cooked)
500 g of pasta (spaghetti); halved
1 c of grated cheese (Parmesan)

Instructions:

Combine water with (spaghetti) sauce inside a skillet; stir thoroughly. Let it boil then add spaghetti and meatballs; stir thoroughly and constantly.

Cover then reduce the heat; let it simmer, at about 20 to 25 mins, while stirring occasionally.

Add enough amount of water when mixture is getting dry. Continue cooking till spaghetti becomes ‘al dente’. Serve hot with grated cheese.

Apricot Glazed Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients:

4 half-inch thick porkchops
1 Tablespoon of oil
1 & 1/3 c of halved apricots; drained & liquid reserved
Liquid reserved added w/ water to have 1 & 1/2 c
2 Tablespoons of almonds; silvered
2 Tablespoons of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons juice of lemon

Instructions:

Season chops w/ salt. Cook in pan w/ oil ’til evenly browned. You add half-cup apricot juice. Simmer w/ cover for about 10 mins.

Combine remaining liquid w/ cornstarch. Pour into chops then simmer continuously ’til liquid is thick, stir often. Add almonds & apricots. Cover & simmer it for additional 10 mins.

Pesto Peppers with Penne Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c of noodles (Penne)
10 ounces of pesto
16 ounces of frozen onion & bellpepper mixture

Instructions:

Have pasta cooked in salted boiling water ’til tender but firm. Drain well. You cook the bellpeppers in stick-free skillet together w/ 1 tablespoon of water ’til well heated, crisp & tender.

Add the pesto & cooked pasta then cook dish over low-heat, stir gently ’til well-heated.

Quick Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients:

1 c of flour; sifted
1 Tbsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1 c of milk (whole)
1/4 c of oil (vegetable oil)
1 pc of egg
1 c of cornmeal

Instructions:

Combine cornmeal, flour, Calumet, oil, egg, and milk; mix thoroughly. Pour onto a well-greased 8-inch baking pan. Bake (450 degrees F) for twenty-five mins.

Apple Cobbler Recipe


Apple Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients:

1 box of yellow-cake mix
2 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
6 peeled tart-apples (medium); sliced
1 tsp of cinnamon

Instructions:

Have oven preheated in three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit. Mix sliced apples, cinnamon &sugar. You sprinkle one-forth of cake-mix over, tossing ’til apples becomes coated completely.

You transfer mixture into buttered 8″ square bake dish then have it baked for half an hour. You place rest of cake-mix in another bowl.

Then drizzle w/ 1/2 c of butter that was melted. Toss ’til large-sized crumbs form. Have this mixture sprinkle into apple-mixture. Have dish baked for about 20 mins ’til top is yellow & puffed.

Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe


Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

Onion
A can of refrigerated rounded crust
1 c of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
1/2 pound of beef (ground)
1 c of spaghetti-sauce

Instructions:

Have oven preheated into 425 degrees F. Grease a 12-inch rounded pan. You unroll the dough then fir into pan; pressing it out from the center then to its sides.

Have pan baked for 7 to 9 mins ’til light golden-brown. Cook beef & onion then drain off excess fat. You spread the sauce into crust then top w/ cheese & meat. Bake for another 12 to 18 mins ’til bubbly.

Baked Ziti Recipe


Baked Ziti Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb of dry pasta (ziti)
1 lb of lean beef (ground)
1 chopped onion
26 oz of spaghetti-sauce
1 & 1/2 c of sour cream
6 oz of sliced cheese (Provolone)
6 oz of shredded cheese (Mozzarella)
2 Tbsps of grated cheese (Parmesan)

Instructions:

Have pot filled w/ water. Add salt then boil. You add the pasta & cook for about 8 mins ’til al-dente, drain.

Cook beef & onions in skillet placed over mid-heat ’til browned. Add spaghetti-sauce then simmer for 15 mins.

Have oven preheated to three hundred degrees Fahrenheit. Grease one 9 x 13″ bake dish. Follow this order for layering: half of ziti, sliced Provolone, sourcream, half of sauce-mix, rest of zit then Mozzarella & remaining sauce-mixture.

Top w/ Parmesan then have it baked for about 30 mins or ’til cheeses melt.

Shepherd’s Pie Recipe


Shepherd’s Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb of lean beef (ground)
1 pc of onion; chopped
2 c of frozen vegetables (mixed)
10 oz of canned soup (cream of mushroom, with roasted garlic)
3 c of refrigerated potatoes (mashed)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven (375 degrees F). Cook the beef with onion inside a skillet for 10 mins or till meat has browned and the onion becomes soft; stir constantly to crumble the meat. Drain of the fat.

Add the vegetables along with soup; cook for 4 mins till heated thoroughly. Place on a 9-inch pie dish and spoon over the potatoes. Bake inside preheated oven for 35 to 45 mins, till bubbly and golden.

Baked Hamburger Dinner Recipe


Baked Hamburger Dinner Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pack of beefy-onion soup ready-mix
1 pack of hamburger

Instructions:

Have oven preheated into 350 degrees F. Combine soup-mix & hamburger. Shape hamburger into rounded patties.

Arrange patties in flat bake sheet lines w/ foil. Cover w/ foil then bake them for half an hour or ’til meat’s done. Best when served w/ cheese & macaroni.
