Easy Chicken Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c of diced chicken; cooked
1 c of carrots; sliced
2 c of celery; diced
1/2 c of silvered almonds; toasted
A can of cream-of-chicken soup
1/4 c of onions; diced
1/2 c of mayonnaise
1/2 c of sourcream
2 Tbsps juice of lemon
1 tsp of celery-salt
2 pie pastry (9-inhc); unbaked
1 & 1/2 c of shredded cheese (Cheddar); divided
Instructions:
Have everything combined except the pie pastry & 1 c cheese. You spoon mixture into crusts then bake them at three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit for half an hour ’til crusts brown.
You sprinkle reserved cheese all over then continue baking for 10 more mins. Allow to cool for 10-15 mins prior to slicing into serving-size wedges.
