Oven Beef Stew in a Bag Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps of flour
1 pc oven roasting-bag
1 c of thinly-sliced carrots
1/4 tsp of ground pepper (black)
1 & 1/2 c of cooked white-grain rice
1 pack of dried onion-soup mix
1 oz of tomatoes (stewed); drained
1/2 c of water
1 lb of flank steak; sliced into thin strips
Instructions:
Have oven preheated to three hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. You combine the soup-mix & flour inside oven roast bag then shake well & mix.
You add the pepper, water, carrots & tomatoes, shake again then add the beef. You turn the bag & have meat coated w/ sauce. Seal bag then put in 13×9x2″ bake dish.
Create 6 slits above bag for steam to escape then bake for 45 mins ’til tender. Best when served w/ heated rice.
