Santa Fe Corn & Sausage Stew Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp of butter (or margarine)
1/3 c of onion; chopped
1/4 c of bell pepper (red); chopped finely
1-1/2 c of milk
10.75 oz of canned condensed soup (cream of chicken)
1 c of corn (frozen); thawed
8 oz of sausage (bulk); cooked then drained
4 oz of diced chiles (green)
1/2 c of shredded cheese (Swiss)
1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Melt the butter inside a saucepan then add red pepper and onion. Cook them for five mins then add soup, milk, sausage, corn, chiles, cayenne, and cheese; stir thoroughly. Let it boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat into low and continue cooking for five mins or till heated thoroughly, while occasionally stirring.
