Shrimp Alfredo Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
12 oz of fettuccine (refrigerated)
1 tsp of oil (olive oil)
1/2 c of bell pepper (red); seeded then chopped
2 pcs of garlic cloves; peeled then minced
8.3 oz of evaporated milk (canned)
1 c of grated cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 c of peas (frozen); thawed
8 oz of shrimp (medium); shelled, deveined, then cooked
2 Tbsps of parsley (fresh); chopped
Instructions:
Cook the pasta as stated in its package instructions. Drain then set on the side. Heat the oil on a non-stick skillet above moderately high heat then cook garlic and red pepper for half a min till slightly softened.
Add onto the pasta together with cheese and milk; cook above moderately high heat for 3-4 mins, while stirring occasionally, till heated through and slightly thick.
Add the peas and shrimp; stir them gently till heated through. Take out from the heat and let it stand till thick, about 2-3 mins. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley, if preferred. Season salt & pepper.
